MGP conducts AGM

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) conducted its 31st Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) in city recently in a simple manner amidst COVID restrictions with members wearing masks and sanitising hands.

Though many members, including Ko.Su. Narasimhamurthy, demanded physical monthly meetings to be conducted instead of the virtual meetings which do not allow many members to participate in consumer awareness programmes within the limited time, the President Dr. B.V. Shivamurthy expressed his inability to comply to their request in view of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) by the Government  which do not permit them to go ahead with physical meetings and requested them to keep patience until the situation improves.

Secretary’s report and audit statements of account were read by MGP Treasurer K.V. Ramanath. Working President Aswathanarayana and EC Member S.V. Raghavendra and other members also participated.
