The Karnataka government has introduced the e-Khata recently and announced that this is essential for any property transactions. Under the circumstances, it is to be noted that although this has been announced months back, the public at large are not aware of this. Those who are aware have applied for it. Some of them have applied nearly 5 months back and are yet to get the e- Khata in spite of having submitted the required relevant documents.
With an aim to educate the public in the process of acquiring the e-Khata, Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) has invited the Zonal Assistant Commissioners of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to interact with the citizens and clarify their doubts on e-Khata and e-Aasthi. The meeting will be held at MGP Office on Vivekananda Road, Yadavagiri, on Sunday (Dec. 8) at 4 pm. For details contact Ph: 0821-2515150.
