MGP monthly meeting on Nov. 12

‘How to prevent cyber crimes?’

Mysore/Mysuru: The monthly meeting of Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) will be held on Nov. 12 at 4 pm at MGP Office, Vivekananda Road, Yadavagiri.

MGP, which has been receiving complaints from consumers concerning cyber crimes, has organised a meeting on the topic ‘How not to fall for cyber crimes.’

Of late, anti-social elements are developing clever schemes to dupe consumers as use of mobile phones are on the rise and people are dependent on internet-based information technology.

N. Anil Kumar, Police Sub-Inspector and Shivakumar, Head Constable from Cyber, Economic and Narcotics Crime Police Station, will be participating in the meeting to discuss ways of avoiding cyber crime.

D.T. Venkatesh, Assistant General Manager (Retd), State Bank of India, Financial Centre, Mysuru, an expert on Cyber Crime, will also be joining in the discussion.
