Minister seeks opinion of parents on starting primary classes

Bengaluru: In a bid to end the confusion regarding re-opening of schools amid the lockdown, Primary and Secondary Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar has sought the opinion and also suggestions from parents.

In a Facebook post on Sunday evening, Suresh Kumar said that many parents have been urging for a late start of LKG, UKG and Primary classes in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the virus spreading across the country, the parents are scared to send their children to schools. At the same time some employed couples have maintained that an early start of schools is better. As such, seeking to end the confusion, he has asked parents to send their opinion and suggestions regarding the re-opening of schools, he said.
