Mysuru: Dasara Kannada Book Exhibition will be organised from tomorrow till Sept.29 under the aegis of Department of Kannada and Culture, Kannada Book Authority and Dasara Sub-Committee at CADA premises here.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Maneyangala in Kalamandira premises here yesterday, Book Authority Chairperson Dr. Vasundhara Bhoopathi said that the expo would be inaugurated by Umashree, Kannada and Culture Minister tomorrow at 4 pm. Dr. Aravind Malagathi, Chairman, Karnataka Sahitya Academy and N.R. Vishukumar, Director,  Kannada and Culture, will be the chief guests.

Various programmes will be held daily at 5pm — ‘Kavi Goshti’ on Sept.22; ‘Nanna Mechchina Pusthaka’ on Sept.23; ‘Nanna Ishtada Kavithe’ on Sept. 24; ‘Pushthaka Preethi’ on Sept.25; ‘Vachana Gayana’ on Sept. 26; Quiz for school and college students and ‘Kavya Gayana’ on Sept.28; Valedictory will be held on Sept. 29 at 5pm.
