Kushalnagar: Sports Minister Pramod Madhwaraj paid a visit to the Sports School at Kudige near Kushalnagar on Saturday and collected information on the facilities available at the hostel besides inspecting various Departments, hostel and the hockey turf. The Minister expressed happiness about the talented sportspersons in the School who have made names in State, National and International levels and also interacted with the students.
Regretting the shabby construction works of the boys’ hostel, the Minister took the construction staff to task. On seeing the synthetic turf brought from Malaysia to be laid for the hockey turf lying in open, Minister Pramod Madhwaraj instructed the officials to put the name of the contractor in the black list and call for a new tender. He said that the new hockey turf would be given to the Sports School soon.
