A team from Mounted Police in Mysuru had a miraculous escape when their vehicle met with an accident at Dongar Ghat between Armiri- Bhandara Highway near Nagpur at around 8.30 pm yesterday. The Bolero vehicle turned turtle and rolled into a thick bush. Fortunately, the bush prevented the vehicle from plunging into a deep valley. The team was on its way to Patna to participate in the 36th All India Police Equestrian Championship. The occupants of the vehicle broke open the jeep’s glass and sought help from the other vehicles in the group. The Bolero was later lifted with the help of a crane. No one was injured in the accident and the team has reached Nagpur.
