Mysuru:  A trader, who was proceeding on a bike was assaulted with an iron road by a gang of four miscreants on Albert Victor Road on Thursday night.

The trader, who was assaulted, is Jethu, a resident of Ittigegud, who owns a shop on Hanumantharao Street in city.

Jethu, was proceeding on his bike from his shop when the four miscreants waylaid him on Albert Victor Road. As soon as Jethu stopped the bike, one of the miscreants hit him on his leg with an iron road and as soon as Jethu fell on the road, the miscreants reportedly assaulted him. As crowd began to gather at the spot, miscreants fled from the spot.

Based on the complaint from Jethu, Devaraja Police who have registered a case are investigating.
