December 4, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: A farmer, who was on his way to Suburban Bus Stand to go to Madikeri, was waylaid by miscreants, who assaulted him and made away with Rs. 25,000 on Nov. 30 early morning.

The farmer, who was robbed is 46-year-old Biju of Nariyandade village in Madikeri taluk, who is working at the agricultural land of one Kariyappa of Jompanahalli village in H.D. Kote taluk.

After taking money from his owner, Biju, who wanted to go to Madikeri came to Mysuru on Nov. 29 evening. As he cannot go to his village even if he goes to Madikeri in the night, he stayed at a lodge behind Suburban Bus Stand.

On Nov. 30 at about 5 am, Biju vacated the room at the lodge and was proceeding towards the Bus Stand. When he was proceeding on B.N. Road, two men and two women, who came in an auto, assaulted him and robbed him of Rs. 25,000.
