Miscreants siphon off Rs. 15.98 lakh from Hassan Dy.SP’s accounts

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have siphoned off a total of Rs. 15.98 lakh from two bank accounts of Hassan Sub-Division Dy.SP P.K. Muralidhar.

The Dy.SP has two Canara Bank accounts, one in Madikeri Main Branch and the other in Bhagamandala Branch. On May 20 at about 1.30 pm, the Dy.SP began getting messages on his mobile phone about cash being transferred and it was then the Dy.SP came to know that his money was being transferred illegally.

The miscreants have transferred a total of Rs. 12,10,711 in 25 transfers from his account in the Madikeri Main Branch and Rs. 3,88,050 from Bhagamanda Branch in 10 transfers. In all, the miscreants had transferred a total of Rs. 15,98,761 from the two Bank accounts. Dy.SP Muralidhar, in his complaint to Hassan District CEN Police, has urged them to trace the miscreants and initiate legal action against them.
