Missing gold ornaments; Complaint lodged against house help

Mysore/Mysuru: Suspecting their house help of stealing gold jewellery worth Rs. 2.07 lakh, which was kept in the almirah at the house, the owner of the gold ornaments has lodged a complaint at K.R. Police Station.

One Tirumallesh, Manager of Janasmal Finance Bank at K.G. Koppal and a resident of Basaveshwara Road, had taken out the gold ornaments from the almirah on May 5 to perform puja following his mother’s 1st death anniversary. He later kept the gold jewellery back in the almirah after the puja and had locked the same.

On July 25, when he opened the almirah, he found the gold ornaments missing and suspecting that his house help, a resident of K.G. Koppal, who knew that he would not lock the almirah had stolen the gold ornaments, Tirumallesh has lodged a complaint against his house help at K.R. Police Station.
