MLA launches development works at Yadavagiri Government School

Mysore/Mysuru: Chamaraja MLA L. Nagendra on Thursday performed guddali puja for various developmental works at the Government School near Railway Choultry in Yadavagiri.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagendra said that development works costing Rs.31.17 lakh has been taken up at the school with funds provided by the city-based  KSOU. Pointing out that he has also ensured KSOU funding for development of Devaraja Mohalla D. Devaraj Urs PU College (Rs.1 crore), Metagalli Government School (Rs.1 crore), Kumbarakoppal Government School (Rs. 24.93 lakh) and Kuvempu Trust School in Vijayanagar First Stage (Rs. 22.09 lakh), the MLA said that  some of those who studied at Yadavagiri School have taken up top positions in the society. Nagendra said he will do his best for developing such old schools.

Corporators SBM Manju and Ravindra, KSOU Registrar Prof. R. Rajanna, DDPI Ramachandraraje Urs, leaders Somashekar Raj, Dinesh Gowda, Kumar Gowda, Mahesh, L. Manjunath and others were present.
