Mysore/Mysuru: MLA S.A. Ramdas launched various developmental works at MCC Ward No. 51 coming under his Krishnaraja (KR) Constituency on Thursday.
There are 19 Wards coming under KR Constituency and the MLA also launched road patch works at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh for each Ward on the occasion.
Works and cost
The MLA performed guddali puja for road asphalting works at a cost of Rs. 13 lakh at Kempananjamma Agrahara and Shankar Mutt Road 3rd Cross, patch works to fill potholes on Ramanuja Road 4th Cross and laying of inter-locking tiles to the footpath on Ramanuja Road 1st Cross.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramdas said that following MLC elections, these works were not taken up and hence the development works were launched now.
Pointing out that road patch works at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh for each Ward have commenced from Ward No. 51, MLA Ramdas said that even works for laying inter-locking tiles has also been launched. Works to make roads safer in the Constituency is on the anvil and would be launched next month, he added.
Corporator B.V. Manjunath, KR Constituency BJP Vice-President Santosh Shambu, Ward President Gururaj Shenoy, Ashraya Samithi member Hemanth, Santosh, Nishanth, Venkatesh, Mahesh, Ward Engineer Santosh, Zonal Developmental Officer Shusrutha and others were present.
