MLA Ramdas listening to the grievances of the residents during his visit to Lingambudhi Lake yesterday.

Mysuru:  In the wake of numerous complaints from residents on stench emanating from Lingambudhi Lake near Srirampura in city, MLA S.A. Ramdas visited the Lake yesterday and heard the grievances of the residents.

The residents living in the surroundings of the Lake alleged that leaking underground drainage water was entering the Lake and this was the main reason for the stench emanating from the Lake.

He also instructed the officials to look into complaints that sewage water, generated from surrounding Layouts and residential areas, was posing threat to the Lake.

MCC Zone-2 Development Officer Raghupathi, MUDA Zone-7 Assistant Commissioner Ravi, Assistant Engineer Yadagiri, VVWW Executive Engineer Yadav, Assistant Engineer Kempegowda, Corporators Jagadish, Shankar and Seema Prasad and others were present during the MLA’s visit.
