Mysore/Mysuru: KR MLA T.S. Srivatsa visited the Kanakagiri residential area of his Constituency, listened to their problems and received petitions from the citizens, on Sunday.
The residents of the area complained that there is Underground Drainage (UGD) problem in some roads of the area since decades, though this has been brought to the notice of the authorities. They asked the MLA to solve this at the earliest.
In addition, many women and senior citizens briefed the MLA about their problems and sought financial assistance for the education for their children and sought his help for getting admissions in good schools and colleges for their children.
MLA suggested on the spot remedies for some of the issues raised by the citizens while on some other issues he instructed the officials to take up the matter and solve the problems of the residents.
Ex-Corporator M.D. Parthasarathy and local residents Ashokkumar, Shivakumar, Shivananjappa, Prakash, Rajesh and others were present.
