Mysore/Mysuru: MLA Tanveer Sait has been co-opted as the Director of The Muslim Co-operative Bank Ltd., during the meeting of the Board of Directors held at the Bank on New Sayyaji Rao Road here recently.
A letter in this regard was handed over to the MLA by Bank President K.C. Shoukath Pasha at the MLA’s residence in Udayagiri. The post of the Director had fallen vacant following the resignation of senior Director Abdur Rahman Shariff.
Bank President Shoukath Pasha, who felicitated Tanveer Sait, also sought his guidance to take the Bank to great heights.
Pasha said, “Under the guidance of the MLA and utilising his vast experience, the Bank will provide better services to shareholders and customers. The Bank can also reach the target of Rs.150 crore deposit and Rs. 100 crore loans in the year 2026-2027.”
After signing the letter and giving his consent, MLA Sait thanked all the Directors for giving him an opportunity to serve the Bank.
Bank Director Dr. Surraiyya Tarannum also spoke. Bank Vice-President Gulam Rabbani, former President and sitting Director Dr. Abdul Ravoof, other Directors, In-charge Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shaik Ibrahim and Senior Manager Syed Abdul Irfan were present.
