Mysuru: Former MLC G. Madhusudan has accused the family members of Narasimharaja (NR) Constituency MLA Tanveer Sait in the city of usurping some of the properties belonging to Karnataka State Waqf Board here.
Addressing media persons at City BJP Office on Monday, Madhusudan gave the list of such assets, now owned by the Sait’s family.
“Ghousia Manzil, Apna Ghar and Rifa Commercial Complex on New Sayyaji Rao Road and the vacant land opposite Masjid-E-Baghban on Akbar Road and Majlis-e-Rifaul Muslimeen are those assets that have been usurped,” he alleged.
Tanveer Sait’s father late Minister Azeez Sait and Taj Mohammed Khan of RMET should be blamed for grabbing these properties, with Tanveer Sait serving as the President of District Waqf Advisory Committee being hand in glove with the irregularities, alleged Madhusudan.
