Mysore/Mysuru: Hunsur JD(S) MLA G.D. Harish Gowda has urged the Government to issue Form-3 for illegal buildings and sites.
Speaking at the ongoing Assembly Session at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Friday, Harish Gowda said that Form-3 is issued only in respect of Layouts approved by Gram Thanas and Urban Planning Department.
The Urban Planning Department is not issuing Form-3 for unapproved Layouts in Hunsur, which is posing a problem, he said and wanted the Government to issue Form-3 even for unauthorised Layouts.
Replying to the Hunsur MLA’s demand, Municipal Administration Minister Rahim Khan explained in detail the measures taken by the Government for issuance of Form-3 to buildings and sites that are located in unauthorised Layouts.
Maintaining that the cut-off date for issuance of Form-3 has been stipulated as Oct. 19, 2013 as per the State Gazette dated Dec. 31, 2013, Harish Gowda said that following the order, the issuance of Form-3 in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) has been completely stopped since 2017, which has led to corruption and other wrong doings. He urged the Government to look into the matter and address the issue.
