Mobile phone of tourist stolen in Mysore Palace premises

 Miscreants have robbed a mobile phone worth thousands of rupees of a tourist from North Karnataka, who had come along with his family to visit the Mysore Palace on Sunday. The victim whose iPhone 7 mobile phone was robbed has been identified as Prakash Basava Raja Angadi.

It is reported that Prakash had kept the phone near the footwear stand counter and was removing his footwear when miscreants robbed the mobile phone and fled. Devaraja Police, who have registered a case based on the complaint from Prakash, are investigating.

Meanwhile, the public have urged the Police to take the issue seriously as thousands of tourists and visitors come to the Palace daily and alleged that though adequate security is provided by the Police and also CCTVs installed in vantage points in the Palace premises, miscreants have managed to rob the phone and urged the   Police to take up the investigations seriously and bring the   culprits to book.

Laptop stolen in Vijayanagar

A complaint pertaining to a laptop worth about Rs. 5 lakh being stolen from a company in Vijayanagar has been lodged at Vijayanagar Police Station.
