Chamarajanagar: Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi could turn the impossible into possible, BJP National  Vice-President and Election Co-In-charge for Karnataka Kiran Maheshwari wanted people to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again by electing BJP members to the Parliament to make the country the world’s top most super economic power from the current sixth place.

Speaking at the programme organised as part of Main Bhi Chowkidar campaign, organised by the District BJP unit at Sri.Shivakumaraswamy Bhavan in city yesterday, she said that Modi can make the country the ‘world leader.’

“Modi has already proved his guts and determination to defend the country from any kind of external aggression  and countered the Pulwama terror attack on Indian soldiers by carrying out a surgical strike in Pakistan’s enemy’s land,” she said. Emphasising that Modi wave was across the country, she said that Mahagathbandhan leaders like former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav   appreciated the working style of Modi and wanted him to become PM again.

Highlighting that Main Bhi Chowkidar is one of the historic campaigns of the BJP, she said that PM Modi had successfully conducted the campaign at more than 500 places across the nation. He was the only leader who can mingle with common people and party activists.  Even a three-year-old child knows who is Modi now, she added. Kiran Maheshwari said the Modi had dreamt of constructing houses for every homeless by 2022 across the nation apart from implementing various schemes like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Ujjwala, Jan Dhan, Digital India, Make in India, Smart cities, Kisan Samman and other people-friendly schemes.  Accusing Congress President Rahul Gandhi of misleading people by ensuring them to implement Basic Income Support Scheme, she asked the people not to believe the ‘Gandhi family’ including Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, who fooled people through Garibi Hatao slogans instead of making honest efforts to eradicate poverty.

She also appealed the party activists to ensure victory of party candidate and veteran V. Srinivasa Prasad, who worked during former late Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee.  A video clip of PM Modi conducting Main Bhi Chowkidar campaigns at various parts of the country was screened.

District BJP President K.R. Mallikarjunappa, MLA C.S. Niranjankumar,  BJP State Secretary M. Rajendra, BJP leaders G.N. Nanjundaswamy, Bharathi Shankar and others were present.
