Mohammed Fatah Ahmed (70), younger brother of former MLA late Mukhtarunnissa Begum, passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru yesterday.

He leaves behind three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

His body was kept at the house of Dr. Shiraz Ahmed in Bamboo Bazar here and Namaz-e-Janaza was held after Zohar (1.30 pm) today at Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road, followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle, according to sources.
