Mysore/Mysuru: Vidwan Ballari M. Raghavendra will present a vocal music concert as part of the monthly moonlight music event at Suttur Mutt in the city at 6 pm tomorrow (Mar.9).
Born in a family of musicians, Ballari M. Raghavendra learnt his first music lessons from his father Vidwan M. Venkatesh Achar and his paternal uncle Ballari Seshagiri Achar. An A Grade artiste of Akashvani, he is currently getting trained in Hindustani music from Pandit Chandrashekar Puranikmath.
He has performed at many national and international music platforms including Doordarshan, BBC and Radio London.
He will be accompanied by Sumanth Manjunath, son of renowned violinist of the city Dr. Mysore Manjunath and Tumakuru B. Ravishankar on mridanga.
Ravishankar is a top grade Akashvani artiste and has performed in many musical concerts of repute.
