Mysore/Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Commerce to H.P. Venkatesha for his thesis ‘The Structure and Process of Governance in Cooperatives: A Study of Souharda Cooperatives in Karnataka’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Yashavantha Dongre.

A. Ranjini has been awarded Ph.D in Biotechnology by the UoM for her thesis ‘Genotoxicity of Acrylamide and Influence of Resvoratrol in Toxicity Protection’ [Guide: Dr. H.K. Manomani].

Y.P. Ramya has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by the UoM for her thesis ‘Shikaripura Harihareshwararavara Samagra Sahitya’ [Guide: Dr. R.C. Devaraju].

S. Deepak has been awarded Ph.D. in Business Administration by the UoM for his thesis ‘Application of Business Intelligence System on Decision Making: A Study on Banking Sector’ [Guide: Dr. S.J. Manjunath].

Rudreshi Addamani has been awarded Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi for his thesis ‘Optimization of Process Parameters and Monitoring the Status and Breakage of Weld using Multi-sensory Approaches for Pulsed Gas Metal Arc Welding (P-GMAW)’ [Guide: Dr. H.V. Ravindra]. 

H.R. Gurupavan has been awarded Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering by the VTU for his thesis ‘Comparative Study of Machining Performances in WEDM of Composite Materials Using Machine Vision System’ [Guide: Dr. H.V. Ravindra]. 

B.K. Venkatesh has been awarded Ph.D in Biochemistry by the JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru for his thesis ‘Biochemical and Pharmacological Characterization of Proteolytic Enzyme(s) from Maclura Spinosa Latex’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. S. Nanjunda Swamy.
