Moonlight Music Concert by Mysuru N. Srinath

Mysore/Mysuru: Vid. Mysuru N. Srinath will present a vocal concert at Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill in city on Feb. 9 at 6 pm as part of the Mutt’s Moonlight Music-221 programme.

He will be accompanied by Vid. Mysuru M. Keshava on violin and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on mridanga. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.

Artistes’ Profiles

Mysuru N. Srinath: An extremely talented Karnatak musician from Mysuru, Mysuru N. Srinath started learning Karnatak music lessons from K.G. Kanakalakshmi and was later tutored by Dr. S. Ramanathan, Vid. R.K. Narayanaswamy and Vid. R.N. Tyagarajan. He has a Bachelor’s degree in music from Madras University, Vidwat in Karnataka Music and Praveena graduation in Sanskrit Aagama Shastra. A recipient of ‘Asthana Vidwan’ award from Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha as well as ‘Rotary Ranga’ award from Rotary, Mysuru N. Srinath is a B-high graded artiste in All India Radio, Mysuru.

Vid. Mysuru M. Keshava: Vid. Mysuru M. Keshava started learning vocal and violin lessons from his mother Anuradha Mohan. He is a torch-bearer of M.S. Gopalakrishnan (MSG) Violin bani.

Vid. G.S. Ramanujam: A disciple of Vid. P.G. Lakshminarayana, Vid. G.S. Ramanujam is a recipient of many awards including ‘Swaralaya Shringa’ award from Suswaralaya Music College.
