Nanjangud: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot when the TVS moped he was riding was knocked down by a bus belonging to AT&S company at Hullahalli Circle in the heart of the town late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Shivaram (52) of Chamalapurahundi in the outskirts of the town. Soon after the mishap, the bus driver fled from the spot, it is learnt. Nanjangud Traffic Police, who visited the spot, shifted the body to Nanjangud Government hospital.
