The above photographs show the entrance to Manasagangothri Campus on Hunsur Road, adjacent to a two-wheeler showroom where huge cable drums (or reels) are placed carelessly, blocking pedestrian way. These cables are lying for the past ten days and endangering the safety of those entering the University campus.
At six in the morning when hundreds of walkers use this entry for their regular walk, it is still dark. And a majority of them are senior citizens whose lives are at risk. This is gross negligence on the part of the Mysuru City Corporation.
This photograph has been sent to Star of Mysore by a senior citizen who has urged the authorities to take immediate steps to clear the path.
