Mysuru: City-based Swara Madhurya Music School’s Founder-President Vidu. Savithri Prabhakar and her son Harsha Prabhakar enthralled the audience at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road in city with their soulful singing and gave a beautiful presentation of light music recently.
Vidu. Savithri Prabhakar presented various devotional songs, including ‘Hottareddu Devara Munde’, Kuvempu’s ‘Om Sacchidananda’, Chennaveera Kanavi’s ‘Ba Mallige’ and others.
Her son Sriharsha Prabhakar presented Da.Ra. Bendre’s ‘Shravana Bantu Nadige’, Santa Shishunala Sharifa’s ‘Taravalla Tangi Ninna’ and many others.
Both sang for more than two hours which left the audience spellbound.
Vidu. Savithri Prabhakar and Harsha Prabhakar were accompanied by Purushottham on keyboard and Bhima Shankar on tabla.
