MP inaugurates PMKVY training centre in Siddarthanagar

MP Pratap Simha, who inaugurated Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Training Centre in Siddarthanagar here yesterday, is seen with Corporators Mahadevamma & Rajani Annaiah and others.

Mysuru: The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Training Centre was inaugurated by MP Pratap Simha in Siddarthanagar here yesterday.

Bharani Foundation has been entrusted the responsibility to run the centre which imparts training in tailoring, data entry and retail marketing for youth about 18 years and who have passed SSLC. The training would last for three months.

Speaking on the occasion, Pratap Simha said that the project intends to establish one PMKVY training centre in every district to enable youth to become independent with entrepreneurial skills.

He advised the educated  youth to make best use of the facility. Corporators Mahadevamma & Rajani Annaiah, Bharani Foundation President G. Sunitha, CEO K. Shashidar, ZP Deputy Secretary Shivaramegowda and others were present during  the inauguration. MP asks district officials to visit taluks
