Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar will inaugurate the ‘Enventure Autodesk Centre of Excellence’ at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) campus here on Jan. 27 at 9 am.
Addressing the media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan, here on Thursday, Anil Sivadas, CEO and Director of Enventure Engineering, said, “Enventure Autodesk Centre of Excellence marks a pivotal step in our expansion into Tier 2 cities, aligning with the Karnataka Government’s BEYOND BENGALURU initiative. This facility will focus on designing high-rise buildings, stadiums, hotels and hospitals for American clients, while also generating significant local employment opportunities in Mysuru.”
“The new facility at VVCE, established in collaboration with the college, will provide specialised training for both students and faculty on advanced tools and technologies. It also aims to create career opportunities for electrical, civil and mechanical engineering graduates, further fostering local talent and strengthening the local economy,” he said.
VVCE Principal Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda said, “Last year an MoU was signed with Enventure. Following this, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical engineering students, in their seventh semester, are offered internships with stipends. Each year, around 30 to 35 students are recruited into full-time roles with competitive salaries after completing their internships and degrees.”
