MRC Eye Hospital conducts free eye screening camp

Mysuru: Mysore Race Club (MRC) Eye Hospital (a service project of Mysore Race Club Charitable Trust) had organised a free eye screening camp at Nirashrithara Parihara Kendra, a rehabilitation centre for the homeless and destitute at Jyothinagar in city recently.

A total of 126 patients were screened during the camp, out of which 22 individuals received free spectacles and 45 patients have been scheduled for free cataract surgeries. Medical Officer at the Kendra Dr. Ramesh Jevoor; Mysore Race Club Charitable Trust Secretary M. Rahul Dev, Chairman G. Venkatesh, Trustee Dr. M.V. Venu, Managing Trustee Dr. T. Vijayakumar and others were present.
