Mysore/Mysuru: Days after he was appointed to the post, Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Chairman H.V. Rajeev, yesterday visited the Bishop House near Five Lights Circle on Mother Teresa Road and sought the blessings of Bishop Most Rev. Dr. K.A. William.
The Bishop, after blessing Rajeev, honoured him with a shawl. Later, the two held talks for about half-an-hour, during which the issue of ‘Laksha Vruksha,’ a one lakh sapling planting drive, was discussed.
The Bishop explained about the sapling planting drive conducted by women organisations under ODP, to which Rajeev assured that he will give more saplings to the organisation.
Rajeev also assured that MUDA will take necessary measures for addressing the representations made by the Bishop.
