The MUDA Grounds in Vijayanagar I Stage is the lung space for the residents of Vijayanagar, Hebbal, Vontikoppal and Jayalakshmipuram in Mysuru. This ground is having facility for coaching cricket, basketball, lawn tennis and several indoor games.
Every evening hundreds of young boys and girls play and enjoy their favourite sport. Also, there are fitness enthusiasts; and hundreds of ladies and gents of all ages come for walk.
In addition to this, a group of people join hands to water the plants, clean the shrubs and remove the plastic bottles to maintain the ground clean.
It is observed that the rain water drain provided here seems to be in bad shape and requires immediate rectification.
Daily many parents bring their children to make use of the facility in 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers but a few of them disturb the walkers by using the honk frequently.
It is a request to the authorities concerned to restrict the vehicle movement up to a certain point or provide suitable parking space to avoid any danger to people and rectify the rain water drain at the earliest.
