MUDA reclaims land worth Rs. 80 crore at Hinkal

Mysuru:  Following a Court order, the officials of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) have reclaimed 8.31 acre land worth Rs. 80 crore at Hinkal here on Wednesday.

The MUDA had acquired 8.31 acre land in survey numbers 331/4 and 331/5 in Hinkal and the land owners had approached the Court questioning the land acquisition by MUDA.

As the Court had given its verdict in favour of MUDA, the officials, on instructions from MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B. Natesh, have got the said land cleared, fenced the property and have erected a board claiming ownership of the land.

Special Land Acquisition Officer Harshavardhan, Zonal Officer K.R. Mahesh, Assistant Engineers (AEs) Harishankar and Nandeesh, Surveyor Ravi and staff were present.
