Mysuru: The Department of Women and Child Welfare has invited applications from below poverty line (BPL) pregnant women to get register their names to avail benefits under Mukhyamantri Mathrushri Yojana.
The Scheme introduced by the State Government in Nov. 2018 has been providing Rs. 6,000 aid for two deliveries. Seven-month completed pregnant women and lactating mothers can register their names on all working days at the Out Patient Ward of Cheluvamba Hospital and on all Thursdays at the nearest Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Anganwadi Kendras.
Money will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of PM Jan Dhan Yojana beneficiaries which must be linked with their Aadhaar card number compulsorily, according to a press release.
