Mysuru: The Department of Women and Child Welfare has invited applications from all pregnant women and lactating mothers to register their names to avail the benefits under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY).
The Centre will provide Rs.5,000 for first delivery and a beneficiary is eligible to receive benefits under PMMVY only once.
The registration will begin from June 6 in all Taluk Government Hospitals on all working days. Registration will also be done at OPD Section of Cheluvamba Hospital in Mysuru from Monday to Saturday and at all Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Anganwadi Kendras on every Thursdays in all taluks.
