Mukkatira Chondavva (Manavattira), wife of late Mukkatira Poovaiah, passed away last evening at her son’s residence in Vasu Layout, K-Block, Ramakrishnanagar. She was 82. She leaves behind three sons including M.P. Subbaiah, DGM, BSNL Madikeri, daughters-in-law and a host of relatives. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
