Multi-talented Autistic Artiste

Mysuru: Amogh Kashyap, a high-functioning autistic adult, recently completed  his Master’s degree in Music from the University College of Fine Arts at Manasagangothri, affiliated to University of Mysore.

He holds a B.A. degree in Performing Arts from the Department of Music from same college and is a Gold Medallist.

The 22-year-old multi-talented Amogh has the distinction of winning first prizes in several College-level competitions.

An emerging Karnatak classical singer, having finished Senior grade exam with 90%, Amogh has been giving concerts for the last 2 years and has performed at prestigious forums in  Mysuru and Bengaluru. A Western Classical pianist, he has completed 4 levels in piano from Trinity College London and pursuing 5th grade.

He is also a National-level swimmer and has won gold and silver medals in various events organised by Special Olympics Bharat.

 Recently, Amogh entertained the senior residents of Tapovan Solace Apartment in Sharadadevinagar for an hour-long mixed music with his rich voice. He is the son of Madhusudan Kashyap, Delivery Manager, Infosys and Keerthana Kashyap, a home-maker, residing in Gokulam.
