Murder of youth in broad daylight: Two accused surrender before Court

Mysuru: Two persons, accused in the brutal murder of a youth at a vacant land in Gowrishankar Nagar on June 29 afternoon, have surrendered before the Court yesterday.

Those who have surrendered are Pramod alias Betta and Avinash. The Judge has remanded them to two days Police custody for interrogation.

It may be recalled that Pramod, along with his accomplices, had stabbed Sunil Kumar (29), a resident of Gundu Rao Nagar, besides assaulting him with machetes, which had resulted in Sunil’s death.

City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna had formed a Special Police Team led by an ACP to nab the accused.
