Mysuru: Sri Krishna Gana Sabha has arranged a music concert by Vidwan Manasa Nayana on Saturday, the 16th June at 6 pm at Alwar Kala Bhavan,Gokulam.
He will be accompanied by Vidwan B.K.Raghu on violin, Vidwan B.C.Manjunath on mridanga and Vid. V. Somashekara Jois on Konna Khol.

PROFILE: Vidwan Manasa Nayana is a first rank holder in Vidwat exam conducted by KSEE Board. A recipient of scholarships from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training and from Sangeetha Nrithya Academy, he was initiated into music by Vidushi S.K. Vasumathi. He was fully trained in all aspects of music by Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. R.K. Srikantan. Currently, he is undergoing training from Sangeetha Kalanidhi R. Vedavalli.
Winner of prizes in competitions conducted by AIR, South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur and Pallavi competition conducted by Shruthimanjari Foundation Mysuru, Manasa Nayana is well-known to Mysureans as he hails from the cultural city. He has given concerts in all the Sabhas of Mysuru and Karnataka. He is a B-high Grade artiste of AIR. He has given lecture-demonstration and joined MS.Ph.D programmes at IISc., Bengaluru but discontinued due to his interest in music.
