Mysore/Mysuru: The Muslim Co-operative Bank Ltd., New Sayyaji Rao Road, Mysuru, recently felicitated Neuro Surgeon Dr. Maqsood Ahmed at a function held at the Bank premises in city on him receiving a Gold Medal from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd), London, United Kingdom.
Dr. Maqsood Ahmed is currently serving as the Head, Department of Neuro Surgeon, at Manipal Hospitals, Mysuru and as Consultant Neuro Surgeon and Director of Al Ansaar Hospital.
Dr. Maqsood Ahmed had secured first rank in the exam conducted by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Prof. Tim Mitchell, President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, presented the Gold Medal to Dr. Maqsood Ahmed.
Bank President K.C. Shoukath Pasha, former President and present Director Dr. Abdul Ravoof and Vice-President Gulam Rabbani felicitated Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, for his achievement.
Dr. Abdul Ravoof presented the detailed academic qualification of Dr. Maqsood Ahmed.
Directors Dr. Surrayya Tarannum and Fayaz Pasha also spoke. Director of the Bank Mohamed Akram Shan proposed the vote of thanks.
Dr. Maqsood Ahmed thanked the Management of the Bank for recognising his achievement by honouring him.
Directors of the Bank, In-charge Chief Executive Officer Shaik Ibrahim, Senior Manager of Main Branch Syed Abdul Irfan and others were present.
