Mysuru: Asserting that many Muslims in NR Assembly segment will vote for the BJP in the LS Polls, former Mayor Sandesh Swamy has said that a history of sorts will be created as NR Assembly segment will back the BJP this time.
Addressing a meeting of BJP workers at Huliyamma Tent Circle, Kyathamaranahalli here on Monday, Swamy said that PM Modi had worked for the betterment of all sections of the society.
Maintaining that Modi focussed on the nation’s security, equality and welfare of the people, he said that Modi must be credited for upholding the country’s pride at the global level.
Lashing out at the opposition parties for branding BJP as a communal party, he said that the people can understand the hypocrisy of opposition leaders.
Maintaining that Dalits, Minorities and Backward Classes were backing BJP this time as they considered BJP as their only hope, Swamy said that Modi was working strenuously for the welfare of all sections of the society while focussing on the poor and the underprivileged.
Listing out the achievements of Modi, Swamy appealed the workers to ensure big voter turnout in the LS Polls.
BJP leaders S. Murali, Giridhar, Narasimha, Manju, Yashaswini Somashekar, former KEA Cahirman B.P. Manjunath and others were present.
