Mysuru: Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, has organised ‘MyBuild Expo’ in aid of Mysore Builders Charitable Trust (MBCT) from tomorrow at Maharaja’s College Grounds in city. It will go on till Dec. 10.
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, MyBuild Committee Chairman K.M. Raghunath said that District In-charge Minister G.T. Devegowda will inaugurate the expo tomorrow at 5 pm.
MUDA Commissioner P.S. Kantharaj will be the chief guest.
The valedictory function on Dec. 10 will have IGP (Southern Region) Sharath Chandra, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath and MCC Commissioner K.H. Jagadeesha as chief guests, he said.
The ‘MyBuild Expo’ with about 200 stalls will showcase building materials, process of buying a site, survey of land, soil testing, designs in planning and construction. Also included are solar power units, electrical appliances, machinery for construction, water conservation techniques, floor tiles, bathroom fittings, types of roofs and painting variants.
A cultural programme will be presented by ‘Voice of MyBuild’ daily from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm at the venue. A singing contest is also organised for students under 15 years.
