Mysuru: Mysore Airport has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with JSS Hospital, Mysuru, for the operation and maintenance of a Medical Inspection Room (MIR) at Mysore Airport.
The agreement will remain in force for a period of three years and aims to strengthen emergency medical response and free healthcare support for passengers and staff.
Under this agreement, JSS Hospital will provide qualified medical personnel and necessary medical support services for the Medical Inspection Room established within the airport premises in Mandakalli.
The facility will offer immediate medical assistance and emergency care free of cost to passengers and airport personnel whenever required, thereby enhancing passenger convenience and safety at the airport.
The agreement was formally signed by Dr. C.P. Madhu, Director, JSS Hospital and P.V. Usha Kumari, Airport Director, Mysore Airport, in the presence of officials from both organisations.
Speaking on the occasion, the Airport Director stated that the establishment of the Medical Inspection Room is a significant step towards improving passenger amenities and ensuring timely medical assistance within the airport in case of emergency.
Dr. C.P. Madhu, Director, JSS Hospital, expressed his commitment to delivering prompt and professional medical services at the airport and emphasised the hospital’s continued dedication to serving the community through accessible healthcare initiatives.

JSS Ayurveda Hospital signs MoU with AAI
JSS Ayurveda Medical Hospital, Lalithadripura in city, a premier NABH-Accredited Health Care Centre, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airports Authority of India (AAI) on June 2 to provide the clinical services.
Under this new agreement, JSS Ayurveda Hospital will extend its comprehensive clinical and wellness facilities to the employees of AAI.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Sarbeswar Kar, Medical Superintendent of JSS Ayurveda Hospital and P.V. Usha Kumari, Director, Mysore Airport, in the presence of Mysore Airport Senior Manager (CNS) Abhishek Joshi and Assistant Manager (OPS) Arjun Prasad.
Dr. Sarbeswar Kar expressed his vision for the collaboration, emphasising the hospital’s commitment for delivering the state-of-the-art Ayurveda clinical care to the society.
