Mysore Amity Round Table and Varthana collaborate for continuous education of underprivileged children

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Amity Round Table (MART), Round Table India and Varthana have collaborated to introduce workbooks for 1,000 students to ensure continued education amidst the recent school closures.

Rahul Nursery and Primary School, Manandawadi Road, has benefited from this event. This collaboration would help 1,000 underprivileged students with English and Mathematics. The project outlay was Rs. 1,27,000. 

Chairman of MART-156 Tr. Hussain Vagh and Chairperson of MALC-108 Cr. Swathi Bhagavat along with all the Tablers and Circlers were present.

Speaking about the association, Tr. Hussain Vagh said, “We are focused on providing quality education and other facilities to the students of the underprivileged area so that they grow into learned citizens.

We also concentrate on the development of overall educational systems and in our pledge to serve our society better, we strive every day to give our best for them.”

Varthana is an NBFC organisation that helps in financing schools and students. It aims to meet the needs of private school promoters by supporting the school in expanding their infrastructure by investing in teacher training and introducing new learning methods into their classroom itinerary.

During the pandemic, Varthana came up with Unlock School Programme which provided students of grades 1-8 access to two printed workbooks for Math and English which are curated as bridge content and mapped to NCERT learning  outcomes.

Round Table India is active in the field of education, concentrating on the development of the overall educational system. They are into the construction of classrooms, toilet blocks, providing educational tool kits for special children, stationeries for students, among others.
