Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore District Athletic Association is conducting the Mysore District Track and Field Athletic Selection Trials for both Boys and Girls under the age groups of 14, 16, 18 and 20 years, on Sept.17 (Sunday) from 8 am at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad, Mysuru.
In this Selection Trials, those participants who secured first with best Timings/ Distance/Height in all categories will be selected for the Mysore District Athletic Team. They will also represent Mysore District in the forthcoming Karnataka Junior and Senior Athletic Championship 2023 which will be held between Sept. 27 and 30 at Mangala Stadium, Mangaluru.
The tentative cut of date for Karnataka State Junior Athletics Meet is as follows: Boys & Girls U-14 years – Born on or after 10th November 2009; Boys & Girls U-16 years – Born on or after 10th November 2007; Boys & Girls U-18 years – Born on or after 10th November 2005; Boys & Girls U-20 years – Born on or after 10th November 2003.
