In the backdrop of ‘Gruha Lakshmi’ scheme, one of the five Guarantee Schemes of the State Congress Government, completing three years of implementation, the Mysore Palace was illuminated with pink lights last night. While regular weekend illumination was held from 7 pm to 8 pm, the special pink light illumination was from 8 pm to 10 pm. However, visitors were asked to vacate the Palace premises during the special illumination which was criticised by public.
