Mysore State Ranking Sub-Junior & Junior Badminton: Medha shocks Deepthi Ramesh

Unseeded Medha Shashidharan of Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) shocked the top-seeded Deepthi Ramesh 21-19 21-14 and entered the finals in the girls U-19 Singles in the Mysore State Ranking Sub-Junior and Junior Badminton Championships conducted by MDBA under the aegis of the KBA at the Manasagangothri Courts here yesterday.

In the U-19 boys section, top-seed Nikhil Shyam Sriram, playing a consistent game, beat third seeded Ganesh Vittal and set up a title clash with second seeded B. Kiran, who got the better of Sai Prateek 21-23 22-20 21-17 in the other semi-final.
