Mysore Varsity to host South Zone Inter University Women’s Kho Kho

University of Mysore, Department of Physical Education, will be conducting the South-Zone Inter-University Kho Kho Tournament for Women 2017-18 from Oct 4-7 at the University Grounds.

Around 60 Universities from all over South-India will take part in the tournament and the matches will be played on a knockout-cum-league basis. The tournament will be inaugurated by MLA Vasu and well known kho-kho player Shobha Narayan on Oct. 4.

The Physical Education Department will felicitate former Mysore University women kho kho players who have won medals in the All India Level. The matches will be played in the four newly prepared courts in the hockey grounds. Accommodation for the participating will be provided by the organisers. The Mysore Varsity will also host the South Zone Inter-University Men’s Kho Kho Tournament 2017-18 during January, 2018.
