Two players from catchment area to be selected for the main team
Mysore Warriors held its second leg of talent hunt for the upcoming season-5 of Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium in Manasagangothri here this morning.
Enthusiastic young cricketers from Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar, showcasing their skills, are vying for a chance to qualify for this year’s tournament. A total of 75 young cricketers, including 25 bowlers, 18 batsmen, 30 all-rounders and 8 wicketkeepers, participated in the event.
The talent hunt was conducted under the super- vision of Adithya Sagar, bowling coach and members of the Mysore Warriors coaching staff. The players underwent a comprehensive assessment process designed to evaluate their technical skills, match awareness, fitness and overall potential.
From a pool of 75 talented participants, the Mysore Warriors will shortlist 10 exceptional performers from the talent hunt. These 10 emerging players will join the team for an intensive practice session alongside the Mysore Warriors squad. Following this preparatory phase, two standout individuals will be selected to officially represent the team in the upcoming Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2026.
