Mysuru: A 42-year-old doctor was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her flat in Lakshmipuram here yesterday morning. The deceased doctor is Dr. Vidyadhare, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Cheluvamba Hospital.
A resident of an apartment in Lakshmipuram in city, she was residing with her husband, K.R. Hospital CMO Dr. Shanmukha and three children.
Dr. Vidyadhare, after completing her work at the hospital on Saturday night, came home and slept in her room along with her children. As she did not come out of the room even after 9 am on Sunday, her husband went to the room only to find her dead.
Sensing something fishy over the death of Dr. Vidyadhare, her brother Srikanth lodged a complaint with Lakshmipuram Police, who rushed to the spot along with fingerprint experts and FSL team and conducted preliminary investigation besides conducting mahazar.
Cops have registered a case and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.
Police sources said that Dr. Vidyadhare was suffering from low blood pressure and had also undergone surgical procedure on her ear. The exact cause of her death would be known only after receiving the FSL and post-mortem report, sources added.
